There are two ways to install All In One Buttons. WordPress has a built-in plugin installer that allows you to add new plugins, but depending on your server settings, it may not work for you. If that is the case, you can install your plugin manually via FTP client.

Installing from WordPress dashboard

• Inside your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload page.
• Browse to the location of the aio-buttons.zip file on your hard drive.
• Click the Install Now button to upload and install the plugin.
• Once the plugin has been installed, click Activate plugin.

Installing manually via FTP client

• Extract the aio-buttons.zip file’s folder to your desktop.
• With your FTP client, upload the Plugin folder to the wp-content/plugins folder that is located in the WordPress directory on your server. If you need a FTP client, we recommend using FileZilla because it’s free and cross-platform.
• Inside your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins -> Installed Plugins page.
• Find All In One Buttons in the list and click Activate Plugin to activate it.

The All In One Button allows you to easily create and add buttons to your WordPress posts/pages. You’ll find it in the first row of the WordPress visual editor.

After you press the All In One Button, a dialog box will appear. In this dialog box, All In One Buttons makes creating a button as easy as filling out a form. Here’s an overview of each form option:

The ANIMATION option sets the animation for the button.

The ALIGNMENT option specifies whether the button is flushed left, flushed right, centered or not aligned at all.

The COLOR option allows you to select from several different colors to change the color of the button.

If the button is too small or large, you can use the SIZE option to make adjustments.

With the ICON option, you can select from hundreds of icons to help your button standout.

In the TEXT field, enter the text for the button.

If you would like the button to open the DESTINATION URL in a new window or tab, simply select “_blank” from the TARGET option.

In the DESTINATION URL field, enter a valid URL you want the button to link to.

As you fill out this form, All In One Buttons will automatically show you a preview of the button. Once you’re happy with how the button looks, the final step is pressing CREATE BUTTON to insert a WordPress shortcode for All In One Buttons into your current post.

Note: You will not be able to see the button itself until you publish or preview the post, so click Save Draft then click Preview to see what the button looks like live on your blog.

If it looks okay and you’re happy with the final results, congratulations you have successfully created a button!

When WordPress themes and plugins use shortcodes with the same name, it causes conflict. You can avoid conflicts by renaming WordPress shortcodes to ensure that the shortcode’s name is unique. To rename the WordPress shortcode for All In One Buttons, go through the following steps:

1. Inside your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the All In One Buttons page.

   

2. Next click the “General Settings” tab.

   

3. Under the Shortcode Name heading, you’ll see the current name of the shortcode.

   

4. You can rename the shortcode by clicking into its field and entering a new name.

   

5. Click the Save Changes button to save your changes and the Shortcode Name option will update accordingly.

   

Tip: You can also rename the WordPress shortcode for All In One Buttons to something that’s easier to remember, but make sure the shortcode’s name is unique.

In All In One Buttons, the animation for the button is set to none by default. If necessary, you can change the default button animation by going through the following steps:

1. Inside your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the All In One Buttons page.

   

2. Next click the “General Settings” tab.

   

3. Under the Default Animation heading, you’ll see an option menu.

   

   Use this option menu to change the default animation of the button.

4. Click the Save Changes button to save your changes and the Default Animation option will update accordingly.
